I still haven’t read that latest Spiegelman book — I heard bad things and then never got around to checking it out.

I used some of the Oulipo Compendium (the section on Oubapo, the workshop of potential comics) in my comics course a few years back. Check out Oubapo America for some good formal experiments. I think this group is much less active than it was several years ago (your first year of college in when I was still reading their mailing list and submitted a few entries). But, it’s still a nice archive of interesting work.

Push Man is pretty great, too!
