I met Saul Steinberg once at a party in New York City. I was very young - just about to start art school. It must have been 1967. Sadly, I remember nothing about our conversation except that I told him I was about to start at the School Of Visual Arts, and he was very sweet. I couldn’t believe he was even speaking to me.

Oh, and since you were talking about color - I love the yellow, lavender and grey, particularly in the first panel.
