I like it! I could also see something like this used for conversational threads, maybe. Kind of like speech balloons but not so sequential?
Or maybe, spread out over dozens of poems, a Spoon River Anthology-esque accretion of viewpoints. Or different characters or personas. Or maybe an id/ego/superego kind of thing, all differentiated by color or dashed-line style.
I do wonder how far I can push these things. I stayed away from doing any real graphic trickery in the book. Maybe this is is how I can stay interested in doing these things…
This one really stole my attention for some reason. It can be interpreted several ways, each of which seems to convey a unique and thoughtful message from seemingly arbitrary words in an article. Amazing.
